Price lines that mix these columns are not comparable. Freight, tax, duty and optional doors should stay visible even when the frame total looks tidy. Illustrative entries such as a 40 psf collateral load, a 115 mph wind speed, or a ground snow load of 30 psf are not project recommendations. A qualified project professional must establish the applicable criteria; keep the approved values attached to the quotation that used them.

What is a sample in this category?
For a building system, a sample may be a panel chip, a coating coupon or a connection detail, not a finished building. Say which one is needed.
Can two code editions be averaged?
No. The authority having jurisdiction and the adopted IBC edition, plus local amendments, have to be named. IRC or HUD Code paths are different regimes and should not be mixed into a steel building kit price.
Who accepts the alternative?
