Send a steel building brief to ArcWorks Sourcing

ArcWorks Sourcing reads written requirements. Use the inquiry form to supply the initial brief. No public visit address or telephone channel is listed here.

A useful message names the building use, the footprint, the eave height, the bay spacing and the clear span, then says which of those numbers are still ranges. Add the project location and the authority having jurisdiction. If design wind speed in mph, ground snow load in psf, or seismic design category A-F is already known, write the value and the source. If it is not known, write unknown rather than borrowing a figure from a photograph or from a review of another project.

State the quantity, the destination, the requested timing, and whether the quotation should be a shell, a delivered package, an installed frame or a turnkey scope. Foundation interface, utilities, permits and crane time stay assigned to a named party. Optional budget should include the currency and whether the figure is per building or for the whole order. A supplier preference of premium, mid-range, budget-friendly or undecided is only a buyer note. It is not a verified rating, and no existing quotation is required before you write.

Where the brief goes

Use the form on this page. The work email you submit is the contact for follow-up questions. There is no published mailing address to visit.

What to include

Building use, footprint, eave height, loads, jurisdiction, quantity, destination, timing, and the shell, delivered, installed or turnkey boundary.

Before a comparison

No response time or factory availability is guaranteed. Mark missing loads, engineering documents and installation responsibility as open questions. If a shell price fits the budget but an installed price does not, retain foundation, crane and erection costs in the comparison rather than treating them as zero.

Three parts of the same brief

  1. Identity: name, company and the email that should receive questions.
  2. Preference: optional budget with currency and per-unit or whole-order basis, plus premium, mid-range, budget-friendly or undecided.
  3. Requirement: geometry, loads, destination and scope. This part is required.

Include specifications, quantity, destination and delivery timing. Shell, delivered, installed and turnkey prices are different scopes.
